Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Trust's Health and Safety team as Conflict Resolution Trainer.

Our mission is to help our Trust employees deal effectively with challenging behaviour in the workplace. We are recruiting an experienced Communication & Physical Skills Training Instructor to join our growing, collaborative training team.

You will deliver conflict resolution and managing challenging behaviour training across all Trust sites, your role will include developing content and reviewing lesson plans.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills who has the ability to work well as part of a team.

The post will be of interest to those who wish to pursue a career in hospital and training management and would like to gain more experience in a busy service with a wide variety of challenges.

Main duties of the job

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing specialist training advice, guidance and support to staff at all levels of the organisation NHS Trust.

The training requirement is currently based across three sites Charing Cross Hospital, St Mary's Hospital and Hammersmith Hospital with the Western Eye Hospital located as part of the St Mary's site, therefore you will be required to work across all 3 main sites.

  • Physical Intervention skills qualification and delivery experience
  • Evidence of recent and relevant continual professional development (CPD)
  • English and Maths GCSE or equivalent

  • Significant training delivery experience in a large organisation
  • Suitable experience in Law Enforcement and/or Security Management in a large complex organisation
  • Ability to operate with a degree of autonomy
