Job summary

We currently have Band 5 vacancies in the Emergency Department at Charing Cross Hospital. The department is a busy, acute area seeing multiple patients of varying acuities. Due to the new, expanded department we have increased our nursing numbers and are looking to recruit staff nurses. We welcome applications from staff new to ED and to staff with previous experience in ED. We are fortunate to have a team of highly skilled senior nurses to support your development, including nurse consultants, emergency practitioners and a practice development nurse.

The post holder will be expected to work with staff to maintain standards in line with Trust and NMC guidelines. We offer flexible working patterns. You will in all aspects be supported by the Senior Sister / Charge Nurse, Matron and Nurse Consultants in the department.

  • To keep up to date with skills and knowledge
