Job summary
Are you an experienced administrator with a passion for equality and diversity?
We are seeking a new full time administrator to help with administration of our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion strategy.
So who are we? We are the People and Organisational Development Directorate who support the Trust to meet and develop its public sector duty to promote workforce equality, enhancing patient and staff experience and quality of care.
The successful candidate will need to be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with excellent problem solving skills. We expect that you will be proactive in working collaboratively with other departments and the staff networks. You'll support the team with delivering our suite of EDI training as well as developing communications to go out across the Trust. You will need to be confident working with detail, taking accurate minutes, updating project plans, and using online platforms including MS Teams. You will also produce high quality administrative documents with attention to detail using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
We can consider compressed hours, agile homeworking and are very happy to discuss other flexible working options.
Interviews will be held on 12th June 2023, and will be conducted virtually.
Main duties of the job
The EDI Team is working to ensure that everyone feels able to bring their whole self to work. This role will support this aim by providing high level administrative support to the EDI team, supporting them in delivering the EDI workplan. The role will also support the running of our staff networks and promote and administer events held within the Trust.
