Job summary
The Social Media Manager will be part of wide community of service users at Imperial. Your main role will be social media outreach to engage service users in local activities or events. You will also be involved in co-designing local maternity care and supporting the delivery of the Maternity Transformation Programme in Northwest London.

Main duties of the job
Maternity Voices partnership (MVP) is an NHS working group: A team of women, birth people and families and providers working together to review and contribute to the development of the local maternity care with Imperial College Healthcare Trust to ensure that every woman and birth person on the maternity pathway has a chance to have their voice heard about the service receiving through ICHT. MVPs are involved in their local communities represented in the local Maternity system in Northwest London.
The Social Media manager works in partnership with MVP chairs to organise, signpost and advertise events for women, birth people and families on social media platforms. This is to enhance the MVP network, access to services and opportunity to engage the public into maternity services.
The post is voluntary, but time is remunerated as described below. Minimum expectation is 3 days per month (22.5 hours).The Social Media Manager will work closely with the Co-Chairs and MVP lay members. They will share the responsibilities detailed below in the way that works best for the team, and in line with the Annual Work plan and budget.

Please note it is an operational requirement when visiting the Maternity sites to comply with infection prevention and control procedures within the Trust such as lateral flow testing, handwashing and the wearing of masks, according to the procedures in place.
Obtaining a DBS will be part of the recruiting process and members of the MVP are bound by confidentiality clause similar to ensure privacy and safety of our service users.
