10 Hammersmith Broadway is one of the UK's busiest Sexual Health and HIV Service based in Hammersmith, West London.
We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and empathetic Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our team who has a passion for the specialty. We are particularly interested in talking to Nurses who have relevant experience in Sexual Health or who are keen and interested in the field.
10 Hammersmith Broadway provides full sexual health care to an abundance of patients every day and therefore we are looking for applicants who are driven, efficient and able to work at a fast pace whilst maintaining amazing customer service and professionalism. 10 Hammersmith Broadway is well respected and trusted by our patients and we are keen to work with Nurses who share our commitment to the care we provide.
This Staff Nurse post includes seeing asymptomatic, symptomatic patients, and providing treatments. We would expect the Band 5 Staff Nurse to also take on in house training as needed and be motivated to advance their skill set while being a team player to all members of the Multi-disciplinary Team.
Main duties of the job
- To maintain and deliver a high standard of nursing care, demonstrating a professional and ethical responsibility..
- To build on clinical experience, leadership and teaching skills through nursing practice.
- To demonstrate a commitment to the mentorship of pre and post registration learners.
- To be involved in the development and implementation of outreach work and other service developments.
- To act as a coordinator of the clinic in the absence of a senior member of the nursing team.
