Job summary
The Menopause Clinical Nurse Specialist is a highly experienced, knowledgeable and educated member of the team who is able to work autonomously making high level decisions to treat health needs. They work at an advanced level of practice, encompassing aspects of education, research and management but are firmly grounded in direct care provision or clinical work with patients, families and populations (based on the RCN Nurse Specialist Menopause description 2017).
Main duties of the job

They work at an advanced level of practice, encompassing aspects of education, research and management but are firmly grounded in direct care provision or clinical work with patients, families and populations (based on the RCN Nurse Specialist Menopause description 2017).
As the Clinical Nurse Specialist for Menopause & PMS you should be educated to first degree level in a health related subject and have completed appropriate post registration education development within their area of specialist practice.
