Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Chelsea and Westminster's Division for Specialist Care Digital Team for a Project Implementation Lead. The successful candidate will take a leading role in managing the delivery of innovative projects that support various programmes being undertaken.
Projects will be varied, supporting Gynae, Maternity, Genitourinary Medicine, HIV, Dermatology and Gender Health specialties.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be embedded within the Directorate of Specialist Care and manage projects that cover our core and remote sites.
The candidate will have in-depth project management skills, knowledge and experience, be able to identify and correctly manage stakeholders, have strong technical and diagnostic skills, be able to work with clinical staff to interpret, scope and document system and project requirements, have an understanding of business intelligence and analytics
Maintain a register to track projects across the division

Ensure that new systems and processes are installed and functioning properly
Be responsible for the development and ongoing management of partnerships with external suppliers, ensuring that all contractual and statutory obligations are met
Ensure contractual obligations are met including safety reporting obligations, provision of documentation, progress reports and report writing
Identify, record and provide solutions to complex project risks and issues
Assist with business contingency and disaster recovery planning for assigned project
Assist with the design and development of operational policies, procedures training requirements for assigned project
Provide timely highlight / exception reports etc. to the relevant boards and committees
Make use of a wide range of information sources, including the Intranet/Internet, and professional publications so as to enhance successful project delivery
Establish cross-functional project teams, working groups and user groups as required to foster effective team communication and forums to drive the project forward, ensuring that all parties have a clear understanding of responsibilities
Monitor projects to ensure that they are on target to deliver the proposed business benefits.
Assist in benefits identification and realisation including the compiling of the benefits register
Coordinate the design, development and testing of systems, ensuring the deployed product meets the needs of users and stakeholders and is ultimately fit for purpose from both business and clinical perspectives
Identify system enhancements and changes and escalate via the appropriate channels e.g. Request for Change, Contract Change Notice
