The NIHR ARC (Applied Research Collaborations) for Northwest London is a five year nationally funded collaborative research improvement programme that will facilitate and accelerate the translation of research innovations into practice across northwest London.
The post holder will direct and lead on a number of programme areas and provide leadership support to a variety of team members. They will work supervised and unsupervised, prioritizing work daily according to needs and priorities of the programme and can communicate routine yet complex project information, status and updates. They will lead and conduct research, lead and collaborate in the planning and delivery of events central to the ARC programme.
Main duties of the job
Create, deliver and lead the team to deliver capacity building activities within the CLCB theme.
Mentor and provide development for key members of the ARC network and Fellows.
Create, deliver and plan collaborative learning opportunities and large network events for the ARC, connecting across their own networks to lead events.
Undertake, lead and drive research on capacity building to provide the evidence base for ARC NWL education and capacity building delivery.
Work with colleagues to lead on supporting diversity, accessibility and inclusive delivery of ARC capacity building opportunities. Understanding national guidelines and policies to ensure a supportive, diverse work environment.
