Job summary

The Clinical Learning and Development Departments manage an extensive range of in-house, and external training and education programmes for multidisciplinary professionals. This post provides essential support for the planning and delivery of these courses and training.

This role involves working at a junior administration level in the Clinical Learning and Development administration team providing high quality, customer-led services to the Trust and Clinical Learning and Development Team. As a member of the Administration team, the post holder will support with the efficient and smooth running of the Centre, and act as front of house supporting the Education Administration team Co-ordinator.

Main duties of the job

  • Manage general mail inbox, support diary management and training co-ordination, manage room bookings, organise catering requests for National Courses.
  • Collaborate with Learning and Development, clinical teams and education providers for the development and delivery of in-house programmes, including performing data entry.
  • Greeting and assisting candidates/facilitators, answering phone calls and handling inquiries.
  • Managing the reception and education centres cross site.

  • Assist in the evaluation processes for the clinical education courses delivered by the Clinical L&D team as well as other clinical departments as agreed by senior management.
  • Assist, and manage elements as delegated by centre co-ordinator, the administration of all Clinical L&D courses, ensuring the required support to clinical teams is delivered, supporting the application, pre-course in-course and post course requirements.
  • Assist in the implementation of processes utilised for recording and reporting all Clinical L&D training delivered and maintain effective records of facility usage.

  • Liaise regularly with the all Clinical learning and development teams to identify effective strategies to secure good attendance at learning events.
