Job summary
We are looking for a values-driven registered pharmacist with energy, expertise and empathy to work as an Innovation Manager (Medicines Optimisation) across a complex set of programmes, relationships, challenges and innovations which contribute to service transformation across North-West London.
A strong clinical background is required to support our medicines optimisation portfolio across our Integrated Care System and beyond, to enable healthcare colleagues to feel supported in the adoption and spread of often new ideas and innovative ways of working. A background in medicines safety, audit and formulary work is preferable, with an interest in research and population health management. You will have specific expertise in quality improvement approaches, methods, and tools to support our Quality Improvement and Safety Skill Centre, and a growing portfolio of medicines optimisation programmes ranging from cardiovascular and respiratory diseases to polypharmacy and reducing high-dose opioid prescribing, with a health inequalities approach to improving patient access and safety.

Main duties of the job
ICHP is seeking a registered pharmacist to join our growing Strategy directorate.
As an Innovation Manager (Medicine Optimisation) you will work across a complex set of relationships, challenges, and innovations to contribute to service transformation at Imperial College Health Partners. Our projects support joint working across primary, secondary, tertiary and social care to improve patient care and reduce health inequalities.
You will be able to think laterally, build strong trusted relationships quickly, and work as a productive collaborative team member. You will bring an appetite for analytics, evidence, and learning in everything you do and have an ability to understand new subjects rapidly.

Imperial College Health Partners (ICHP) is a not-for-profit organisation, established by its constituent NHS and academic members. We exist to improve population health, and we do that by supporting partners to understand complex problems, to innovate, and to implement new approaches sustainably within complex systems. - Evidence of post qualifying and continuing professional development.
