Applications are invited to apply for the position of Locum Consultant on a 12 month fixed term basis in Sexual Health & HIV Medicine at Chelsea and Westminster Healthcare NHS Fdn Trust.
The post is based at St Stephen's CentreHIV and Sexual Health services (John Hunter Clinic and Kobler HIV OPD) on the Fulham Road site.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to provide clinical leadership in an established service supported by an experienced MDT comprising of Consultants, specialty doctors, nurses, health advisers and pharmacists.
The successful candidate will join the Consultant team and deliver a high-quality service within John Hunter Clinic and Kobler HIV OPD.
The successful candidate will also be expected to support the training and development of other members of the MDT and will also contribute to the development and maintenance of a high quality clinical research and teaching environment.
The successful candidate will possess a recognised Medical degree, MRCP and be on the specialist register of the GMC.

Job Summary
The post is for a locum, 10 PA Consultant in Sexual and Reproductive Health, and HIV Medicine. The job is based at the John Hunter Clinic for Sexual Health and Kobler HIV Outpatients, both located in the St Stephens Centre, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
The post-holder will, in conjunction with the existing consultants, have responsibilities for providing advice, screening, diagnosis and treatment of patients with STIs, including HIV infection. They will be committed to developing integrated sexual health services in line with the National Strategy for Sexual Health, contraception & HIV. The post-holder will be expected to lead on innovations or service change designed to achieve local/national targets, develop/expand outreach services in order to deliver care to more vulnerable individuals, enhance prevention strategies such as PrEP, optimise cost efficiency of the service, implement new technologies and further develop online services. The post-holder will also be expected to provide service provision on all aspects of contraception/ LARC and support the progress of an integrated one-stop sexual health service, targeting harder to reach individuals and those in need of enhanced prevention support.
