Job summary
We have a vacancy for a Rapid Response Domestic Assistant, working part time Saturday & Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
Please do not apply if you do not have domestic experience as this role requires you to have some domestic experience. It is a reactive role which may range from general ward/clinic cleaning to completing full deep cleans to reduce infection spread within a fast paced environment.
You will be required to undertake a wide range of cleaning duties associated with maintaining a high standard of cleanliness ensuring that at all time a high quality service provision is offered, maintaining Trust values.
Full training will be provided but the role does require a person to be able to safely use equipment including ladders around the site. Also able to transport equipment and cleaning material to different wards. Identify correct curtains for replacement and communicate with the supervisor and ward staff.

- Cleaning wards and clinics to high standards.
- Adhering to infection control policy's and procedures
- Utilising cleaning equipment safely and ensuring deep cleans are completed timely and thoroughly.
- Changing curtains as and when required
- Careful use of UV machine for deep cleans
- Using handheld device for reporting of jobs and tablet for machines
- Safely using ladders and transporting of equipment around the hospital
