We are pleased to invite applications for an Assistant Psychologistto join our busy Clinical Health Psychology Team within Aintree University Hospital.

This is a full time post of 37.5 hours per week on a fixed-term contract for 12 months.

This post involves working closely with the existing Stroke team, particularly the early supported discharge team, supporting people in the community after stroke.

There are opportunities for MDT working and group work.

The post will involve delivering assessments and interventions, in addition to service evaluation and audits.

Our department has close links with the North West DClin training courses and regularly provides training placements

Main duties of the job

Duties within the post will include clinical assessment, supervised intervention, and supporting with training and evaluation.

The clinical duties within the post will be varied and fully supported by a structured and well-established clinical health psychology team.
