Job summary
As a member of the service, the post holder will be expected to support the Deputy Programme Manager, the Lead Administrator and Lead Nurse for Health Promotion within Liverpool & Wirral Bowel Cancer Screening.
In the absence of the Lead Administrator the post holder will provide management support to the wider administration team. This will include managing sickness and problem solving.
The successful candidate will support the Complex Polyp team with booking endoscopy procedures, compiling information ahead of MDT, attending MDT and ensuring outcomes are completed.
The successful candidate must be able to undertake all administrative duties, be well organised, able to plan their workload, work on their own initiative and work to deadlines, both individually and as part of a team.
Main duties of the job

Work with managers to improve quality and range of services, with resources being managed according to agreed policies and procedures.
Ensure all mandatory training is up to date and report accordingly.
Be able to work as part of a team, promote effective flows in the department to cover leave to ensure the office runs smoothly.
Implement, develop and monitor standard operating procedures (relevant to administration role and department).
Attend weekly MDT/PTL meetings.
Produce high quality minutes.
