We are seeking a Discharge Matron with the right values, commitment and energy to support our journey within Aintree University Hospital.

Main duties of the job
o Provide senior management /clinical leadership to a teamworking as 'Complex Discharge Practitioners'o Support the integration agenda, working closely with teamsacross the 'LUHFT footprint'o Provide strategic leadership for the management of throughputensuring access targets are consistently achieved.o The post holder will interpret national and other guidance asnecessary, putting such guidance into operation as required.o To work collaboratively with Site Management Team to developoperational objectives which are consistent with Trust corporateobjectives.o To develop and lead on operational systems that deliver timelydischarges.o To work with clinical teams in actively managing and reducinglength of stay.
