LOCUM CONSULTANT UROLOGIST (DIAGNOSTIC/ CORE)

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust wishes to appoint a Locum Consultant Surgeon, with a special interest in the diagnosis, investigation and management of benign and malignant urological disorders.

Main duties of the job

To work with the current Consultant Team supporting Urology through clinics and Theatre sessions.

Picking up long waiters waiting on procedures for benign and cancer patients currently in the system awaiting an appointment

Attend urology meetings when necessary

Pick up and action all reports on hospital systems and attend any future training as required

Dictate all letters from clinical sessions, liaise with secretary and consultant team

Follow up on all reports bringing to attention or referral to another consultant within the urology team or another consultant within Trust or other hospitals trust

Have regular 1-2-1 meetings with clinical lead
