Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced, committed and forward thinking individual to assist the nursing team in the pre-op department in outpatient clinics working across hospital sites . Under the supervision of a registered nurse assisting the Department team in providing the highest possible standard of care for patients and their families/carer. The post holder will undertake a range of tasks and duties as delegated by a registered nurse, must also be proficient in venepuncture and ability to perform ECGS.
Main duties of the job
For this post you will need to be well organised and have good communication skills and computer literate. with the ability to work both under supervision of registered nurses and independently across hospital sites.
You will be required to work independently alongside nursing clinics, performing basic observations and patient swabbing, and specific observations for pre op patients, proficient in venepuncture and ability to perform ECGS
All other nursing assistance responsibilities will be required.
