Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Practitioner to work at the Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
LUHFT has a proven track record in successfully recruiting into NIHR portfolio and commercial studies. They conduct a variety of projects, including observational and cohort studies, device and drug trials as well as mixed methods and qualitative research.
Main duties of the job
The Research Practitioner must be a strong advocate for research and patients, able to both recruit and provide effective support to research participants.
The successful candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as an ability to work independently and flexibly. The successful applicant will need to be enthusiastic and ready to work to recruit patients in line with targets, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Working for your organisation sectionThe Trust has 4 sites, Aintree, the Royal, Broadgreen and the Dental hospital.
This post will primarily work in the research team at the across LUHFT, with the scope and flexibility to work across other areas of research on all LUHFT sites.

Collection and processing of biological samples. Data bases such as Redcap, Imedidata and Inform.
All clinical research activity must be compliant and conducted in accordance with European Union (EU) Directive, ICH/GCP International Conference on Harmonisation and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
