Band 2 Clerical Officer - 15 hours per week (Tuesdays & Fridays)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clerical Officer based on our York Centre/Garston sites, the post involves working as part of our reception/clerical team.
Candidates must possess excellent organisational, communication and IT skills to be able to provide an optimum level of customer service to patients, both in person and over the telephone, and to other users of the service.
The post holders must be self-motivated, work well under pressure and enjoy working with a diversity of people.
The successful candidates will work in a friendly environment with a proactive team who will assist in your personal development. You should have a kind, efficient and respectful approach and will need to be able to remain calm and professional in this busy Imaging Department.
Training will be given for the Radiology System.
NHS experience is desirable but not essential.
Main duties of the job
To carry out reception and administration duties, inputting and extracting data onto the patient administration system (PAS) and the departmental CRIS system (Computerised Radiology Information System, CRIS) and to search the patient database for existing records, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.

Maintain a high standard in all aspects of work
