Job summary
An exciting secondment opportunity has arisen for a highly, experienced senior registered nurse to join the ventilation inpatient centre based at Liverpool university hospital-Aintree site as a Band 7 Ward Nurse Manager.
NIV is a state of the art high dependency area for respiratory patients.
And the person needs to have experience looking after level 2 patients and or HDU experience as a band 6.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate previous substantive experience of working at at a band 6/7 level, must have an experience looking after Level 2 patients and or HD experience as Band 6. They also have to display motivation and skills to lead and develop the current existing team in collaboration with senior nursing and organisational staff. Excellent communication and leadership skills are a must.
Main duties of the job
Key responsibilities will include the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care, effective leadership and staff management/development. The post holder will always work within the NMC's Code of Professional Conduct.
