Job summary

This is an amazing time to be joining the LUH digital team!

This is a Band 5 Analytical role in the Digital Intelligence Unit, within the Digital Intelligence directorate, based within our Digital Headquarters in the Liverpool Innovation Park.

We believe our analyst roles are unique. Whilst they are aligned to a reporting structure, they are deployed in an agile way across the team - moving to assist where the pressures are or where skills best fit ... each day could be different and certainly never boring! You may be involved in routine or adhoc analysis, supporting junior colleagues, designing completely new metrics and KPIs, preparing presentations or meeting with operational or corporate stakeholders

We're looking for an aspiring healthcare analyst with analytical experience, married to professional and technical skills; Technical skills in data analysis tools such as R, Orange or similar, visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview or similar.

#Plot the dots, #Making Data Count and #Data Saves Lives should fuel your passion for analysis, and transforming those into healthcare benefits is your ambition

The successful candidate will be provided the support and trust to both succeed and grow in the role.

If this reads like you, we'd be very interested in hearing from you

Main duties of the job

  • To provide an insightful and timely analytical and visualisation service to support decision making across the organisation and to a range of stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Utilising the most appropriate technologies available to the Team to ensure that reporting is delivered in the most effective way possible.
