Are you looking for an opportunity to join a friendly and enthusiastic pharmacy team? Are you keen, committed and looking for a challenging role to develop and expand your skills and knowledge? Then why not come and join us at LUHFT. You will be based at either Aintree University Hospital or The Royal Liverpool Hospital with rotations to either Broadgreen Hospital or The Walton Centre.
The pharmacy service has a well-developed clinical directorate structure with an established mentoring system for junior staff. We're at the forefront of technological developments, as well as clinical pharmacy, with electronic prescribing and administration deployed across the hospital. This post consists of rotations across a wide variety of clinical areas including acute medicine, respiratory, cardiology, diabetes, general surgery, vascular, TPN, medicines information, care of the elderly, neurology and gastroenterology.
LUHFT is collaborating with Cheshire & Mersey Acute and Specialist Trusts in 2024 to recruit our junior pharmacists in this intake. This joint recruitment process has been agreed in an attempt to streamline the process for candidates wishing to come and learn in our ICS and avoid the need for candidates to accept and later decline posts which leaves vacancies which are subsequently more difficult to recruit to.

This collaborative effort will mean less time off work for interviews held on separate days.
