There is an exciting opportunity for a Clerical / Research Assistant to work within research teams at the Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
This will include all LUHFT sites Aintree, the Royal, and Broadgreen.
Main duties of the job
The purpose of this post is to provide comprehensive support to the Researchers and the research teams.
The Clerical / Research Assistant will be expected to perform a variety of clinical and clerical research duties within a research environment. They will assist with patient's study visits and clinical trial procedures. This will include clinical tasks such as venepuncture, vital signs, collection, processing (including centrifugation, freezing, handling of dry ice) and shipping of biological specimens according to protocol requirements. The clerical duties will involve collection of patient data from medical notes, completion of case report forms (CRF's), data inputting and providing general admin support.
