Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen on the Endoscopy Unit for the position of Clerical Officer Administrative Support/Waiting lists Clerk.
The successful candidate needs to provide and maintain an efficient and effective administrative service in line with local policies and procedures.
To manage and monitor an Endoscopy waiting list to ensure that tests and procedures are carried out within the specified Government targets and agreed protocols.

Main duties of the job
Generaland Administrativeduties will include:
- Maintain an efficient and effective administrative service
- Routine duties include: answering telephone enquiries, updating the computer database.
- Checking the waiting lists on a daily basis, and checking any new referrals that may come through and adding them on to the IPM lists.
- Booking appointments
- Sending out patients appointment letters.
- Maintain professional standards in appearance, behaviour and punctuality.
- Excellent IT skills.
