An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join the Workforce Systems Team at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

We are looking for an experienced Electronic Staff Record (ESR) administrator to join our team who provide ESR and Smartcard services across the Trust.

This role will be working across sites and supporting workforce teams but predominantly based in Williamson house, Wavertree technology park.

Main duties of the job

Working as a senior administrator in the Workforce systems team we will be responsible for ESR structures and access, as well as providing smartcard and RA services to all the staff at LUHFT. They will work closely with the wider Workforce Teams to develop processes and work towards providing best practice for the organisation.

The post holder will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and given the nature of this role, will have proven excellent organisation skills.

You will be working proactively, in line with service improvement principles, to improve data, systems and reporting in line with local and national requirements, analysing information and supporting stakeholders.

Job responsibilities

To act as super user for ESR, keeping up-to-date with enhancements and supporting the implementation of system developments.

Support the development and improvement Workforce Information systems data, and to record and monitor information which can be used to report on and drive improvements in servicedelivery.

Support the update/maintenance of workforce data to meet requirements of Trust committees and groups and to demonstrate compliance against SLAs, internal and external assessmentrequirements.

Record, monitor and report on workforce data, highlighting areas of non-compliance and taking action to ensure improvements are made to enable compliance with external assessment requirements.

Co-ordinate and utilise performance information, in the creation of basic routine and ad-hoc reports, highlighting trends and exceptions where appropriate.

Identify gaps in good practice and support the Head of Workforce Systems & Information in initiating the required action plans to implement process changes.

Co-ordinate service improvement projects ensuing progress in recorded and risks identified and provide advice on the process and implementation of process redesign activities within the service.

Support the development of process documentation ensuring adherence to identity guidelines, service standards and version control guidelines. Develop and maintain appropriate filing systemsensuring appropriate storage of both paper and electronic resources, including confidential and sensitive documents.

Develop information and guidance resources and support and co-ordinate the development of training resources and the delivery of training sessions, to HR colleagues and customers, on aone-to-one and group basis.

To provide RA, and PBAC (Position Based Access Codes) access and support for service requests and troubleshooting problems relating to RA and Smartcard access in line with Local and National Guidelines.

Check all RA paperwork is correct and assist in completion as necessary. Check Paperwork adheres to relevant National and Local Policies.
