Job summary

The Radiographic Department Assistant will receive basic training so that they will be able to work in a collaborative and co-operative manner with the Healthcare professional team providing the CT and MR scanning service for the benefit of the patients comfort and well being during their attendance for a CT or an MRI scan.

For this role you will be expected to demonstrate an understanding of the principles of essential patient care.You will be involved in checking stock levels and ensuring that all examination rooms are stocked appropriately. You will be responsible for maintaining clean linen in the work area, cubicles and rooms.As a member of the Radiology team you should project the desired professional image to patients, relatives and colleagues.You should be able to evaluate the quality of their own work and make necessary improvements.

Opportunity for a Band 3 Cross Sectional Imaging Radiographic Department Assistant

An opportunity has arisen for an RDA to work in the Cross Sectional Imaging Department. NHS experience essential.

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic staff member to join our Cross Sectional Imaging team here at Aintree University Hospitals NHS Trust.

You must demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to provide high quality patient care. Duties include all aspects of patient care associated with the CT and MR scanning service, cannulation, phlebotomy skills and some administrative duties.

Must be able to work well as part of a multidisciplinary team and also independently. You will need to be computer literate.
