Job summary

Are you a caring and compassionate Registered Nurse looking for a fresh opportunity? Or perhaps you are a newly qualified nurse looking for your first role to provide the backbone of nursing fundamentals to aid transition to an experienced and confident nurse.

We are excited to announce that we are recruiting for permanent staff nurses within the Frailty Unit here at The Royal Liverpool Hospital. It is an exciting time to join our team as the service develops from its 12 bedded short stay unit and ambulatory care model, to provide virtual ward and direct conveyancing services.

You will work alongside a full MDT with links to integrated care in the community to help patients get out of hospital and into their own homes quickly and safely.

Main duties of the job

You should have a passion for working with patients needing support with medical conditions relating to ageing and frailty.

You should possess excellent communication and people skills to aid in the delivery of excellent standards of care.

You should be able to demonstrate a real enthusiasm for acute medicine , as well as a desire for on-going professional development.

You will receive excellent training and opportunities within the specialty you work in.

You will also receive excellent levels of support from the full MDT, ward manager, matron and senior nursing team.
