The successful candidate may be NMC or HCPC registered.
Main duties of the job
You will work directly to the Apprenticeship and Widening Participation Lead and line manage the team who deliver on the apprenticeship and widening participation agenda.
Provide visible presence as an educator across the Trust working with managers to explore potential opportunities for work experience, pre-employment placements and apprenticeships.
Be able to support the care certificate programme.
To grow external links with schools and colleges and identify career pathways such as a cadet or pre-employment programme. Develop partnership working with the local community, DWP etc to support people into work.
To work with managers and increase the number of apprentices within the Trust.

The post holder will be part of the Apprenticeship and Widening ParticipationTeam working across the LUFHT educational estate.
The primary role will be todeliver all elements of clinical education, including resuscitation courses, clinical skills and simulation, with contribution to other Trust education initiatives as required. The post holder will work in conjunction with the Clinical Training Leads will identify core skills and clinical developments that will support service activity. This will include the development and delivery of clinical training to individuals, groups orteams providing specialist advice as required. This will include the delivery of insitu simulation and assessing the clinical environment for latent error. To update and review programmes of education to ensure that they follow thecurrent evidence base and national guidelines. - Primary clinical qualification e.g. R.G.N or Allied Health care professional.
- Graduate level Mentorship or a relevant, formal teaching and assessing qualification
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
Desirable
- A recognised education qualification e.g. PG Cert Ed or willingness to work towards

- Demonstrable post registration experience
- Demonstrable experience of teaching, supervising and assessing healthcare students in the practice setting.
- To have a working knowledge of Human Factors and how that impacts on patient safety.
