Cheshire & Merseyside Radiology Imaging Network

Cheshire & Merseyside Radiology Imaging Network (CAMRIN) are looking for an experienced Imaging Systems Manager to support the multiple imaging systems across the network.

You will demonstrate resilience, credibility and be a highly capable and enthusiastic professional with an extensive track record of leading on complex projects.

Main duties of the job

This is an opportunity to play a key role in the development of imaging services across Cheshire and Merseyside by facilitating collaborative working across the shared imaging systems within CAMRIN. These systems play a key role in the care delivered to patients and this role is integral to the continued advancement of the systems so that patients have better access to innovative services and receive test results quicker.

It is an exciting time to join us and be part of driving these huge opportunities to improve the healthcare and outcomes for our patients. We have an ambitious roadmap that involves all 12 Trusts within CAMRIN and our current system providers working collaboratively to develop the systems.

About us

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was created on 1 October 2019 following the merger of two adult acute Trusts, Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.

The merger provides an opportunity to reconfigure services in a way that provides the best healthcare services to the city and improves the quality of care and health outcomes that patients experience.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Masters or equivalent experience in IT
  • NHS D Clinical Safety Course completion
  • Significant range of short specialist courses on relevant IT systems Interfacing and networks
  • Evidence of continued professional development

Experience

Essential

  • 8 years experience in IT
  • In depth specialist experience including installation and interfacing to other IT systems and imaging equipment and soft/hardware management
  • Evidence of architecting multi-trust solutions
  • Evidence of designing bespoke work/message flows between clinical systems
  • Evidence of designing and implementing cyber security safeguards to protect patient data
  • Evidence of leading region wide data provision for Radiology
  • In depth networking knowledge as imaging systems are highly sensitive to network capability
  • Extensive experience in development of MI reports, including working with complex data structures across a variety of different systems
  • Demonstrable experience in a data analytics or business intelligence role working with databases e.g. Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server Management Studio

Desirable

  • Extensive knowledge of web browser technology
  • Experience of day to day running of a service without supervision.
  • Experience of introducing new technology and systems into complex organisations
  • Ability to interpret specialised policies and technical documents and advises the Trust.
