Job summary
We currently have a vacancy in our busy friendly outpatient department at the royal working Monday - Friday flexible days and hours and are looking to recruit and enthusiastic team player to be part of our unit.
The role involves undertaking various tasks within the multidisciplinary teams and rotating to the various specialities. Assisting medical and nursing staff. Undertaking specific tasks i.e. stock control/chaperoning/assisting with procedures (dressings) observations.

Main duties of the job
Main duties are working on a daily basis in the ambulance lounge, orthopaedic clinics, breast, upper GI, renal, respiratory, cardiology, diabetes and endocrine clinics / satellite clinics.
Completing daily checks i.e. emergency trollies. Undertaking observations, urine testing.
Applying simple dressings, removal of clips and sutures. Chaperoning doctors and assisting patients in clinical areas.
Stocking up of clinics and ordering of stock.
Working in satellite clinics and training for independent roles i.e. scanning. Supporting colleagues and students.
Rota is flexible days and hours with a view to work cross site if needed @ RLH.
Full training available for all areas.
