An exciting opportunity has arisen within Liverpool University Hospitals for Band 4 Nursing Associates to join our team of highly motivated and committed nursing staff.
On applying you will have the opportunity to choose your hospital site in order of preference (Aintree, Royal Liverpool & Broadgreen) and your 3 preferred specialties.

- We have an Internal Transfer Scheme which facilitates an easier transfer process from one specialty to another within the Trust.
- This year, we have supported 26 Nursing Associates to undertake the Top-up Degree Programme to become Registered Nurses and our aim is to keep this momentum year on year.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will have successfully completed the 2-year Trainee Nursing Associate training programme, which includes the attainment of a Foundation Degree equivalent qualification and is registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council. You will have developed and will maintain knowledge, skills and competencies related to the role of Nursing Associate within the service through completion of the Nursing Associate training programme, which includes working in care settings and delivery of person-centred care. You will be equipped with the knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudes and behaviours relevant to employment as a Nursing Associate and will work to a nationally recognised code of conduct
The Nursing Associate role focuses on the life-course (pre-conception to end of life) approaches towards health and well-being and the ways in which they actively contribute to the delivery of holistic care.
Deliver high quality, compassionate care under the direction of a Registered Nurse (or other registered care professional dependent on setting) with a focus on promoting health and independence. You will have proficient attitudes and behaviours compatible with NHS Values and will work as part of a designated clinical and care team delivering care that focuses on the direct needs of the individual.
