We are looking for enthusiastic nurses who will provide compassionate, person-centred care to adults experiencing mental health difficulties. We offer rapid assessment and short term intensive treatment in order to support individuals and their family/carers through mental health crises. Through a recovery approach, we aim to prevent hospital admission or to facilitate discharge from hospital.
We are a team of nurses, psychiatrists, occupational therapists, and support workers, and you will find the team extremely supportive whilst you are growing into the role. We have a good team spirit, and great team work is at the heart of the service.
Main duties of the job
CRHT is at the forefront of providing an excellent borough wide urgent care mental health service to clients already open to BCHFT services.CRHT operates as an alternative to hospital admission, rapid response to crisis in the community and triage service for new referrals to the trust. CRHT is also accessible to general members of the public via our Black Country 24/7 Helpline. Being able to form therapeutic relations quickly with clients and carers is essential as is a commitment to working in a collaborative manner.You would need to be motivated for the challenge; committed to developing your own clinical skills; show leadership qualities; and be able to take a positive risk management approach.
The successful post holder will work as band 6 senior clinician primarily in Walsall CRHT - 37.5hours per week - shift work is required for this post. PAN Trust working (Walsall, Wolverhampton, Sandwell & Dudley) may be required on occasions.
