OATS(Older Adult therapeutic service) has been established for 2 years and provides therapeutic groups for older adults across the 4 localities of BCH
We keen to develop new therapeutic groups particularly for individuals with complex presentations and needs, Our MDT currently consists of specialist mental health nurses, Occupational Therapists, Psychology assistant, therapy assistants and we are soon to add wellbeing practitioners,
Therefore our need for increased psychology support in new group development, upskilling staff, providing high quality supervision and reflective practice, assessment and co-ordination of complex patients alongside liaison with psychology in ECMHT/inpatients
As a Senior Applied Psychologist in OATS you will have a balanced job plan which meets both the needs of the service and your own development. This will include contributing to Group Development forum , identifying skill needs for staff. In addition, you will be providing formulation driven, evidence-based psychological therapies for the OATS team. Y
You will contribute psychological thinking to the work of this busy, friendly multi-disciplinary service and will supervise the clinical work of assistant psychologists, wellbeing practitioners trainees and other professionals.

Provides highly specialist psychological assessment of clients with highly complex conditions based on the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of data from a variety of sources, which may include neuropsychological testing
