Job summary
We are currently looking to appoint an Administration Assistant to work within the Dudley Early Intervention team to assist the existing team in providing a comprehensive administration service.
Excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills are a must, with the ability to work well under pressure. You must be a team player and able to cope with conflicting demands. You will have the ability to use your own initiative, possess problem solving skills and beprofessional, have theflexibilityto travel to other sites for cover across the Black Country,possessinga 'can do' attitude. Excellent attention to detail, having a working knowledge of GDPR and confidentiality, plus the confidence to work efficiently and competently are essential.

Main duties of the job
- Provide a comprehensive administration and clerical support service as part of a wider team.
- Processing and providing internal and external postal duties.
- Typing of letters, correspondence, reports in accordance with team/service procedures/guidelines.
- Acting as first point of contact for visitors, clients and multi-agency professionals visiting the service, providing a friendly and welcoming reception service.
- To receive and deal with incoming calls and visitors, taking the appropriate action.
- Use a range of communication tools to relay messages efficiently to individuals / groups.
- Receive post, internal and external deliveries and ensure they are distributed to the appropriate teams. .
- Liaise with the Transport Team with regard to incoming/outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Carry out general administrative and clerical functions including photocopying, filing, archiving, laminating as required.
- To work as part of the administration and clerical team providing cover and support to colleagues throughout the Division during periods of annual leave or sickness to ensure a continuous provision of service.
- Where appropriate, procure stationery supplies and services via e-series.
- Use and maintain knowledge of current IT systems, attend training to support implementation and development of new systems and information technology as required.
