An exciting opportunity has arisen within our organisation for a Digital Clinical Risk Manager. We are looking for an individual who is passionate and enthusiastic about digital clinical safety, to support our Lead Digital Clinical Safety Officer in ensuring that the Trust's ambitious digital transformation programme is undertaken as safely and effectively as possible.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for growth and a proven track record in supporting the safe implementation of Health IT systems. It would be advantageous if you have experience of clinical risk management, however the Trust recognise that not all candidates may possess the full spectrum of skills, therefore if you are eager to develop your skills in this area, we encourage you to apply.
The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, demonstrating the ability to organise, prioritise, and manage their own workload independently. They will require advanced interpersonal and communication skills to enable them to use persuasion, motivation, coaching and modelling to influence opinion and practice.

Main duties of the job

To support the Lead Digital Clinical Safety Officer in ensuring effective clinical risk management is carried out on all existing Health IT systems within the Trust.

To support the Trust's Clinical Safety Officers (CSOs) with the production of key clinical risk management deliverables (clinical risk management plan, hazard log and clinical safety case report).

To ensure all clinical risk management documents for projects or systems they are supporting with are kept up to date and uploaded to Trust SharePoint Clinical Risk Management File.

Support with the maintenance of an asset log of Health IT Systems deployed within the Trust, including decommissioned systems.

Report incidents and concerns through Trust and Clinical Risk Management processes.

Assist with monitoring and responding to incidents and concerns raised during live service, in adherence with DCB 0129 and 0160 Standards.

To raise understanding and awareness of clinical risk management to internal staff, suppliers and key stakeholders to reinforce safety culture and adherence to the Clinical Safety standards.
