Job summary

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Talking Therapies Service Manager with good leadership skills, knowledge and experience of managing staff and resources. The successful candidate must hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or equivalent.

The post-holder would need to demonstrate excellent communication and decision making skills to ensure the team is able to perform all duties as required whilst meeting all key performance indicators and service requirements within the resources available.

Main duties of the job

Joint operational management of the Walsall Talking Therapies Service (formerly IAPT).

Key duties will include offering management and clinical supervision to the team, chairing service meetings, ensuring the team access CPD, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and data analysis.

In addition, the successful applicant will share in recruitment initiatives, attend all relevant meetings and work towards service harmonisation.

Complaint management and investigation, room allocation and annual performance conversations will also be required.
