Job summary
- The post holder is responsible for the assessment of care needs development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care without supervision and will be required to teach nursing and non-nursing staff including basic and post basic students.
- The post holder will be expected to be involved in management and leadership of the clinical team and will carry out all appropriate care interventions and may be designated to take charge of the department/caseload or speciality in which she/he is placed in the absence of the person who has continuing responsibility
- The post holder will assist the Team Manager in developing and maintaining the quality of the department, including monitoring high standards of client care and developing areas of clinical excellence / best practice and a therapeutic & caring culture.
Main duties of the job
The Post Holder will report to the clinical lead/ Team ManagerThe post holder will ensure their activity is in line with required performanceparameters and quality standards.He/she will support Business Planning within the Directorate in line with their sphere of expertise and responsibilities.The post holder will be an active practitioner and will contribute directly to the clinical activity of the Team as agreed with the line manager.The post holder will be expected to be involved in participate in providing 1 to1 therapy as well as facilitating group therapy to services users using evidence base interventions.
