Job summary

An exciting opportunity for a 12 month fixed term/secondment and job share position (Maternity Cover) has arisen in Black Country Healthcare Foundation NHS Trust.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Research Nurse to support the delivery of studies across a number of different clinical areas including: Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, CAMHS and Older Adults (including Dementia).

Main duties of the job

Are you an experienced Nurse/Research Nurse looking for a new role in mental health?

You will work on a broad range of interventional and observational studies, run by commercial sponsors and Academia and also bring your leadership and organisational skills to our research team.

The Research Nurse Job is pivotal in the efficient day-to-day running of commercial and academic clinical trials, supporting the trial's Principal Investigators ensuring the smooth running of studies. As a Research Nurse, you will have the responsibility to play a significant part in coordinating research activities within the Trust, this will include assisting in study set up, identification of service users and staff for studies, enrolment, screening, consent taking and research follow up assessments.

The post holder is expected to work autonomously and also as part of a team, be proactive and organised to deliver research and produce a quality data within timelines so the NIHR targets are achieved.

This is a great opportunity to learn new skills and support the delivery ofinterventional and observational studiesin the areas of: Mental Health, Dementia, CAMHS and Learning Disabilities.
