Vacancy for a Band 7 Senior Mental Health CAMHS Practitioner/CBT Therapist to work in Dudley Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS)
Based at The Elms Health Centre, Slade Road, Halesowen, B63 2UR
We have a vacancy for a Band 7 CAMHS Senior Mental Health Practitioner/CBT Therapist within the Dudley CAMHS Service and are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our team.
The post holder will need to have Cognitive Behaviour Therapy Training and preferably be trained to deliver IAPT supervision (if not be willing to undertake the supervision training).
Main duties of the job

About us
Exciting opportunities are happening within Dudley Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). As a clinical team we are involved in a redesign and restructure of our services to ensure that we are providing the best evidence based practice care in the best timely way we can. We have developed a model that allows us to do just this and with extra funding we are able to recruit new posts to join the teams to further implement our constellation model.
Our CAMHS Service is a multi-disciplinary team of psychologists, specialist nurses, systemic, child and art psychotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers and psychiatrists, who are passionate in their aim to work with children, young people and their families in developing creative solutions to improve their mental health difficulties. The BCHFT CAMHS Service currently operates across 4 geographical areas (Sandwell, Wolverhampton, Dudley and Walsall) with contracts in each area. Each of the teams have a specialist learning disability team dedicated to children and young people with a moderate to severe learning disability and specialist Children and Young People in Care Teams.
