VACANCY FOR 1wte BAND 8A CLINICAL LEAD IN THE EDUCATIONAL MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT TEAMS
THIS POST IS TO WORK ACROSS THE BLACK COUNTRY INCORPORATING SANDWELL, WALSALL, WOLVERHAMPTON AND DUDLEY THEREFORE CAN BE BASED IN ANY LOCATION HOWEVER HYBRID WORKING OF BASE AND HOME IS POSSIBLE
Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, motivated, committed and highly experienced professional to provide clinical leadership for staff within the EMHST. We offer a hybrid model of Mental Health Intervention and Educational Psychology to our educational settings therefore you will work closely with the Educational Psychology Leads and Locality Team Clinical Leads to support in providing a high quality service to the children and young people in the Black Country, leading by an example is a priority as you will need to prioritise the role and demonstrate the values of the Trust.
About us
We are looking to recruit a compassionate clinical lead who is well trained in CYP IAPT and who is dedicated to the health and wellbeing of all children and young people referred into the service, who has the relevant experience of working and supporting low to moderate complexity cases. The post holder will work alongside the Service Manager ensuring the team is run efficiently and effectively in a caring manner and collaboratively with our patients, parents, schools and staff, you will also help to deliver a range of operational tasks and requirements. The post holder will be required to clinically lead the team and make complex clinical decisions whilst the EMHST service manager will assume managerial responsibility for the workforce. You will also be responsible for undertaking PDRs and completing supervision as well as being part of an on call rota. The post holder will require excellent leadership skills that can be demonstrated and have the ability to manage complex relationships. The role will require independence and knowledge to delegate your respective duties and responsibilities effectively. - Qualified in core professional such as Mental Health Nurse (RMN), Mental Health Practitioner, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapy, Social Work or creative therapies e.g. Art Therapy.
- Post graduate (masters and above) level of clinical study.
- Relevant post graduate qualification in Mental Health related field.
- Qualification in CBT.
- Qualification in clinical supervision or be willing to train to gain a qualification

- Relevant management qualification.
