Transformational Lead - Health Visiting Band 7

Band 7 (£40,057 to £45,839). Full-time 37.5 hours per week

To Support the Service Manager and support the other 5 Team Leaders and team members to transform and develop the Dudley Health Visiting service.

You will need to have a recognised Health Visitor qualification, V100/V300 Nurse Prescribing, up to date with the Health Child Programme, have a good understanding of the Public Health Agenda as well as having extensive experience assessing and managing child protection/safeguarding families. You will already have good leadership, management, inter-personal and organisational skills and the Trust will support you to develop these skills further and have proven experience leading a Health Visiting team. Having a passion to innovate to continually improve the Health Visiting service in Dudley is essential to making a difference to our children and families.

Main duties of the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and experienced Health Visitor to support the Service Manager and the 5 Health Visiting Teams to develop and transform the service. The successful candidate would part of a wider supportive management team. You will also be part of a pivotal team who will supporting our commissioners to co-design the new 0-19 service, developing the Dudley Integrated Health Care with Dudley CCG (which aims to bring more hospital based services into the community) The successful candidate will receive opportunities and training to further develop their leadership skills, HR management skills, budget management skills, supervision skills, coaching skills and will develop and complete clinical audit to improve practice.
