Main duties of the job

The Strategy Directorate provides services to both management and staff, internal and external, to ensure that the Trust can deliver its strategic priorities including those aligned to national and local policy. The Programme Management Office (PMO) provides the skills, capacity and expertise in the planning and delivery of strategically significant change, with the overall aim of both improving the quality and consistency of care for people who use our services, and enhancing the overall efficiency and sustainability of Trust services. The Senior Transformation Project Manager will support the Transformation Programme Manager and divisional leads, clinicians and corporate teams to formulate and deliver a range of transformational projects that are ambitious and innovative, support the Trust and the wider system to achieve its strategic objectives, and above all make a difference for all of our stakeholders.

Job responsibilities

The workload of the role will be based around supporting the implementation of Mental Health Support Teams, developing the Suicide Prevention initiative, and delivering projects within the Learning Disability and Autism Programme. Previous experience in these areas would be beneficial but isn't essential.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

  • 2 Years Project Management Experience
  • Qualification in Project Management e.g. Prince2

Desirable

  • Experience in LDA
  • Experience in Suicide Prevention
  • Experience of MHSTs
  • Experience of NHS STP/ICS
