Service Manager / Clinical Lead CAMHS/C&YP LD Band 8A 37.5 Hours Per Week Permanent Contract This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for a chance to develop services for children/young people with mental health/LD. You will work closely with professional/clinical leads and the Divisional Managers and will be a key member of the Divisional Management Team.
Main duties of the job
As a Senior Manager within the Division you will be responsible for high quality service delivery, with a focus on safety, performance and efficient and effective person centred provision. The post holder will manage CAMHS/C&YP LD, and LAC provisions within Wolverhampton.
In line with Future in Mind and the Long Term plan the CAMHS/LD provisions are currently undergoing a significant redesign to ensure that our specialist provisions remain accountable, accessible, evidence based and build on awareness and participation.
About us
The successful candidate will need to have significant managerial experience within CAMHS/C&YP LD, ideally as a band 7 or above and knowledge of this specialist clinical area. Candidates will need to have excellent communication skills, effective influencing and negotiating skills and well developed management and leadership skills. You will need to have demonstrable experience of performance management, managing budgets and managing people. Candidates must be able to work in partnership with stakeholders, children/young people, carers and others. .
As a minimum, candidates must have a first degree or equivalent professional qualification, a management qualification (or working towards) and evidence of continuous personal and professional development.
