Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional candidate to join the Administration team as a Senior Administrator/PA.
The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative support to Consultant Clinical Geneticists and Genetic Counsellors.
You will need to be able to work well under pressure and cope with conflicting demands. You will possess excellent organisational, communication and IT skills. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word is essential. The post-holder must be able to demonstrate an ability to communicate well and to work as part of a team and would be expected to contribute to the work of the administration team supporting the wider clinical team members.
Main duties of the job
Candidates will be self-motivated and possess an RSA II qualification (or equivalent), along with an AMSPAR certificate or comparable administration experience. You will enjoy working within a multi-disciplinary team and have the ability to relate to children, parents, other family members, and other medical professionals. This will be complemented by excellent organisational administration and communication skills.
