This newly developed role sits within Health in Mind, providing peer support and supervision from within our large, friendly busy team. The postholder will be working closely with the cleft team, including the cleft psychologist in Health in Mind, to support young people in supportive transition from Birmingham Children's Hospital to the adult services at Queen Elizabeth Hospital , whilst working with adults referred to the service. The postholder will need to be experienced in establishing care pathways, service development and implementing waiting list initiatives. We invite you to ask yourself... Main duties of the job
The post holder will lead in the provision of psychological assessment, intervention and signposting to adult and transitioning young people. The postholder will lead in service development, innovation and feedback within the cleft service at Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
The post holder will be based within the cleft team, working to support transition from Birmingham Children's Hospital to University Hospitals, Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Travel between Queen Elizabeth and Health in Mind will be required according to service need. The post holder will provide input as part of the multi-disciplinary team and individual appointments with patients.
