Business Administration Apprentice level 3 – Patient Experience

Job summary

As an integral part of the Patient Experience team, you will assist with Business Administration duties on a wide range of Inclusion and Diversity, Art, Language support and Patient Information projects. Some of your duties will include creating presentations, analysing data, collecting feedback from patients and families and inputting survey data, typing documents, taking messages, answering the phone, and making calls, taking minutes at meetings, allocating requests for language support with the in-house team as well as more general business administration duties.

Main duties of the job

There will be several opportunities to work with staff and wider team from across the Trust. Internally these include team managers and other staff within health services, externally these will include local charities, agencies, and organisations. There will also be occasions where you will assist with gathering feedback from patients, this could be through conducting surveys and inputting data or assisting with video recordings.

The Apprentice will be supporting several projects as well as providing administration support, therefore the Apprentice will be required to complete the Business Administration course - level 3 in conjunction with Sandwell College. The role will include one day per week allocated study time.

You will be required to provide cover for absent colleagues and liaise with appropriate staff to ensure that any enquiries and/or queries are handled in a timely and accurate manner.
