Job summary

An enthusiastic, forward thinking and high calibre finance professional is required for the permanent post of Commercial Finance Manager.

The post holder will be directly responsible to the Head of Financial Management and Planning. You will be responsible for providing a high quality financial management service to the Medical Division

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, integrity and an appropriate business focus. This will include delivering against the Trust's Efficiency and Productivity programme without impacting upon the quality of patient care.

The role provides an opportunity to be part of new developments in healthcare and provides a platform for wider professional exposure in the healthcare sector.

Main duties of the job

This is a senior finance leadership role with autonomy to shape the finance and performance of the Medical Division.

You will be a qualified accountant with significant experience and expertise in financial management in a NHS acute setting obtained in a senior finance role. Modeling, forecasting and analytical skills are a pre-requisite for this post along with highly developed negotiation and communication skills.
