Job summary
Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust is proud to be Lead Provider of the West Midlands CAMHS Provider Collaborative (WMCPC) - an integrated provision of specialist mental health, learning disability and autism services, for young people aged 12-18.
Here in the West Midlands - and across the country - those who need an inpatient admission experience either a long wait for a bed or are admitted to hospitals far from home.
We hope that by working collaboratively, using local data and listening and engaging with our service users, we will be able to reduce the number of young people admitted to inpatient services, drive down length of stay, bring care closer to home and ultimately improve the outcome and experience of every young person we see.
As part of West Midlands CAMHS Provider Collaborative (WMCPC)'s Programme Management Office (PMO) the postholder will be leading on designated Projects and associated workstreams in redesigning the West Midlands CAMHS Provider Collaborative (WMCPC)'s Secondary Care Community Mental Health Services.
The team is based in Printing House Street in Birmingham City Centre, but works across the Provider Collaborative with sites across the city. This role will require city-wide working. Homeworking in the PMO team is available, however, there is an expectation to work from the office base at least twice weekly.
Main duties of the job
This is a new role that has been created to support the Programme Management Team (PMO) facilitating critical projects that have been identified within the Commissioning Hub of the West Midlands CAMHS Provider Collaborative (WMCPC)'s Mental Health Services.
The postholder will lead on development and implementation of critical projects and transformation workstreams; working with Operational and Clinical colleagues across the collaborative.
The role is based in West Midlands CAMHS Provider Collaborative (WMCPC)'s Programme Management Office (PMO) which is a small team of project management experts who work across West Midlands CAMHS Provider Collaborative (WMCPC) to meet strategic priorities.
