Job summary

This is a unique opportunity to work alongside the community midwifery team at Birmingham Women's Hospital, covering South Birmingham. We are looking for knowledgeable and passionate professionals, to support women and families throughout their pregnancy and postnatal journey, who meet the criteria for additional and complex needs. This post is a fixed term 12 month post, with service evaluation after 12 months, with aim to review for possible extension. Main duties of the job

Opportunities to gain further development/qualifications and career progression.

A flexible working approach for you to establish with the women in your care.

Multi-disciplinary team working. Working very closely with the safeguarding team to identify women at most need.

Special interest groups we have team members supporting specifically with equality and diversity, safeguarding, auditing, breastfeeding, antenatal education, infection control and more.
