Job summary
The post holder will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of administrative and secretarialduties, which include the receipt of all correspondence, booking of patient medical appointments,attendance at designated meetings recording accurate notes. Completion of audio transcription ofclinical letters, reports and other correspondence as required by the Consultant Psychiatrist andmedical team.To act as a focal point of contact and be responsible for the dissemination of information, messagesand enquires for the medical team, liaising with multidisciplinary team members, other healthprofessionals and staff within the Trust, GP's, Social Workers, Service Users, Carers and any otherappropriate external agencies. You will also help cover when other secretaries within the service areon annual leave.
